Step-by-step guide to starting a US based iTunes account

If you’re not from the US and have already started an iTunes account based in your own country, you probably know you’re treated as a second rate iTunes citizen. Some applications, podcasts, etc… are just not allowed simple because we’re not “based in the US of A”. I was really, really annoyed that I couldn’t download the FREE Photoshop App or the Kindle for iPhone and resolved to “fix it somehow”.

If you’ve just gotten a new Mac, taken it out of the shiny box (or started off with Hackintoshes like me!), then installed Mozilla Firefox, you might wonder why the tab button does not move the cursor within forms as it should (or as you are used to anyway).
