I travel a fair bit and over time, I’ve learnt to refine the art of packing. First of all, I don’t start packing 2 hours before my plane leaves, nor do I throw a random bunch of clothes into a bag and hope I’ll be okay.
I’ve formed a fairly comprehensive list of items to pack, and hope it will help you as the basis for your own list. You can find it on Google Docs here. Or, you can copy and paste the items in text form below. Though I am a strong proponent of saving the environment and not wasting paper, I PRINT out this list and affix it to my wardrobe so that I can refer to it and pack quickly – having everything online isn’t always the fastest or easiest *gasp*.
Do feel free to leave comments, if there are items you feel I should add to the list.

I just sent this post to a bunch of my friends as I agree with most
of what you’re saying here and the way you’ve presented it is awesome.
