@TheBackpackr

it depends on what kind of usage you're looking at.
I personally own both the 3gs and 9550 and i would have to say both are good at what they are supposed to do. Iphone - media / mainstream Blackberry - business and security. The iPhone is not capable of being as flexible as a blackberry is when it comes to e-mails, secured messages, encrypted messages bla bla bla and definitely not as customizable as a blackberry.

However if you're looking for a media phone with a wide list of apps and a good amount of storage (blackberry uses ram thus minimal app storage) then the iphone is the way to go.

Also do note that the iphone does not allow you to swap media cards and/or batteries. So if you batt is dead and you have no portable charger u're screwed.

All in all since i'm a company owner my vote goes to the blackberry just because you can swap batts once one is dead without the fear of 'oh shit phone's dead how now'

I'm rather biased, but seriously (in the most unbiased way), the iPhone will deliver you much, much more pleasure in the days to come. All that the BlackBerry can do and more is achieved via the iPhone.

When traveling, it's so great to watch movies on a nice sized screen. When bored, there's a ton of really great games to toy with. When lost, the Google maps work wonders. (BB has maps, but they're bad - I've tried 'em).
